Great to see close on 100 visitors on both competition nights, and to witness NCPS finishing a creditable 2nd out of the 17 clubs competing in Wednesday’s print event and equal 3rd out of 19 clubs in Thursday’s PDI Knock-out challenge. Friday’s awards presentations and fish & chip supper rounded off the week in relaxed style with about 50 members and friends enjoying a really convivial atmosphere in the hall, with ample time to have a good look at the club’s entry of PDIs and Prints. Despite our print displays lacking their normal illumination (the missing light sets were later discovered buried under the stage) the variety and quality of the pictures didn’t suffer unduly and attracted many favourable comments from the visiting clubs and members of the local community who took advantage of free entry during the day.
The Annual Exhibition is always the highlight of our year at North Cheshire PS mainly thanks to all those willing volunteers who contribute in so many ways to put on a good show.
