So here are some details for the forthcoming Exhibition Week, I’ve just set them out as bullet points as it seems easier to take in.

For the first time we are opening our exhibition to the public in response to a call at the AGM to do so. It will be open as detailed below.

The Dates and events – Wednesday 16th March, 12.30pm, Set up hall for exhibition and evening print competition. It’s quite an undertaking to assemble the stands and hang the prints so if you are available we would appreciate as much help as possible. 7pm doors open for the North Cheshire Challenge Print Competition. Volunteers for tea duty are required.

Thursday 17th March – 10am -4pm, we will need volunteers to ‘man’ the hall in 2-hour sessions throughout – please talk to Rob for the rota. 7pm doors open for the North Cheshire Challenge PDI Competition. Volunteers for tea duty are required.

Friday 18th March – 10am -4pm, we will need volunteers to ‘man’ the hall in 2-hour sessions throughout – please talk to Rob for the rota. 7pm doors open for the Social Evening. This will be an evening of prize giving and revelry with a meal (see below for more details).

Meal – We have selected a different caterer this year and the menu choices are Chicken Chasseur or Beef Lasagne, Christine is holding the tickets for this – please see her at forthcoming meetings to buy a ticket for your choice, the price for this is £10. Please bring your own beverage, wine glasses will be provided by the club.

Prices – The Wednesday and Thursday evenings cost £4 on the door. And the Social Evening is £10. HOWEVER, if you were to pay for 2 evenings and the Social Evening together the cost is only £15 – please see Christine Bedwin for tickets.

Raffle – We are famed for our quality raffle and it represents a good opportunity to help defray the exhibition running costs. So if you have anything suitable for the raffle please bring it along to any Tuesday meeting before and hand it to Christine or Paula. But if you are donating any food or drink items, please check their use-by dates.

PDI Entries – The uploader is now open for your 5 PDI images. You can, by selecting the relevant uploader, choose to have your entry included in the Exhibition Competition or not – as we know that some members aren’t in favour of this.

PRINT Entries – When entering your 5 prints please put them in descending order of importance on the entry sheet. This is necessary so that we know which images can be dropped in the event of an entry that is too numerous to hang on our stands.
