Throughout the last 18 months we have followed government advice. Currently there are no formal restrictions in place from either the government or the Civic Centre which restrict us from meeting as we always have. However since it is impossible for any of us to know the risk profile of other members and their families it is unlikely that a “free for all” would make all our members feel comfortable and confident to return to club nights. While I feel much of what follows does not need spelling out since people would have behaved this way anyway, it is incumbent on me to insist that people follow the following guidelines which will be kept under review.

Please do not attend if:

  • You have any Covid 19 symptoms unless you have taken either a lateral flow or PCR test which has come back negative
  • You are coughing or sneezing regardless of the cause
  • You have been told to self isolate

We will not initially be serving tea or coffee in the interval, but please feel free to bring your own drink if you want to.

Most of our meetings see the bulk of the time spent with everyone in rows facing the front and this is a relatively safe set up. We will ventilate the Council Chamber as much as we can. The room is cleaned between meetings in the room.

There is plenty of seating in the Council Chamber for those people who want to sit apart from others to have room to do so, please ask before sitting next to someone else. Please be aware of maintaining appropriate social distancing on arrival and during the break.

Everyone should feel comfortable to wear a mask if they choose to do so.

If you have been at a large event or other higher risk environment please consider taking a freely available lateral flow test.

All feedback on the above would be welcome, just email enquiries@ncps.org.uk.

We hope that with these measures in place we can get back to seeing each other and enjoy sharing our photography.
