Following on the success of the recent Simon Butterworth workshop there was much talk amongst the attendees about the possibility of arranging regular monthly photo shoots.
After many emails between the committee members and the positive feedback gathered, it has been decided to give this a whirl.
In order to accommodate member’s wishes we will be arranging the shoots to run on alternative times of the month i.e. midweek and weekends.
I/we have prepared a starter list of venues and dates (some still to be confirmed), which will include Cities, Transport, Sporting Events, Nature and Landscape. However, if anyone has any other thoughts, desires or recommendations please don’t hold back – send me an email (davidaakers@gmail.com) and I will (if necessary), make the arrangements, please remember nothing is set in stone.
As for the sporting events these may take a while to organise due to contractual agreements with sponsors and therefore we may not be able to visit. In these cases I will try and find an alternative event.
At this early stage I am proposing that our first day trip should be a (free – no charge) outing. I suggest that we meet up at the Civic Centre in Poynton and share transport costs and if desired at the end of the day we can all meet up for some light refreshment.
Please let me know (by email) if you are interested in taking part.

Good Stuff. Sorry we cant make 12/3/14 Liverpool. Just a warning that traffic through Poynton is sometimes awful at that time of day. Some times it is clear. Seems quite random!
Chatsworth. Been on both Sat and Sun in the past.
Sat is lower divisions on an easier course. Sun is the full international crew, and hence more expensive.
Both days are very busy and is is worth getting there fairly early. Big crowds round the main water jump.
The stand at the jumping ring is free and often not very busy.
