You may have seen in the latest Photography News that they have launched a new  “Camera Club of the Year”  competition which involves five images being submitted on each of five subjects, by five different authors over the next five months (why didn’t they call it Fives?). The prizes incld a top of the range Canon projector, and  a workshop with no-less-a-photographer than David Noton; not to mention the accolade of being camera club of the year. The subject for Round 1 is “Water” in all its forms and manifestations. I think it would be fun and motivational for NCPS to compete.  It will require a significant commitment from someone (most likely me) to collect, select and submit the entries each month, but if you are up for it then I am too. I will put this to the Club at our meeting at Hazel Grove next week. Meanwhile you can get all the low-down at: .

Closing date for round 1 is 5th Jan.
