Despite last year’s difficulties with the weather the majority of our members have voted to return to the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel in November this year. The friendly service, comfortable accommodation, good wholesome food and appealing location means that it perfectly fits the bill for our discerning group of keen photographers who also enjoy the friendly social atmosphere that prevails on these occasions.. The fact that we’ve been offered the earlier weekend of 4th & 5th November 2016 at a similar competitive rate as last year’s mid-November terms adds to the attraction and no doubt accounts to some extent for the enthusiasm expressed by so many of our regulars to return to the New Dungeon Ghyll.
Again in 2016 we shall hope to fill all 22 rooms available to us so that we can have the hotel to ourselves. We want to extend to the whole of our membership the opportunity to share this popular weekend but the limits on accommodation means that rooms must be allocated on a “first come, first served” basis. So if you are able to commit yourselves, please ask me to add your names to the list as soon as you can. The usual room deposit will probably be requested in the next few weeks. The terms for the weekend are as follows:-

Rates – Dinner, Bed & Breakfast. £70.00 per person per night. (a single room supplement of £10.00 per night applies in 2016)
It would be good if a greater number of “first-timers” are able to join in the fun this year!
