Members looking for something a bit beyond a standard studio shoot may be interested in joining a bunch of folk from Alsager, Crewe and South Manchester for a retro shoot with a difference. Graham Curry will be modelling his gangster look with a female model by the name of Katy Lou.

Hello John and Trevor and Tim,

Could you please circulate this information to your respective club
members.

Following some ideas from me, Graham Currey, L&CPU Judge, actor and male
model has found and booked Parktannas Retro Yard see http://ptry.co.uk/
[1] it is a fantastic retro American themed filling station and yard as
if in a film set.

Graham will be various portraying various roles (eg Gangster & his Moll)
and will also have his full set of guns and costumes. You can see Graham
as a Gangster with his moll, in this shoot I did with him two weeks ago,

Katy Lou, a local model from Crewe who can look great as as 1940’s /
1950’s lady with 1940’s hair. She will also have a large range of
period costumes . They will will work in duo and some solo. We will also
using some studio and speed lights.

If you do not know Katie Lou, these were my 1950’s and other themes
shots from my 2015 shots with her at the now defunct Peter Bailey studio

The shoot is limited to a maximum of 5 photographers. The yard is not
cheap and of course we also have two models for 8 hours so the cost of
£95 per photographer does represent good value when you think of the
variety of images you can obtain, together with taking images of all the
interesting cars and other retro paraphernalia. and backdrops for your
own later use.

There are three places left at the moment. This is an opportunity to get
some very different images to a normal studio shoot

If the weather is against us we have the right to cancel, as long as it
is not last minute.

I would need a £50 deposit, should you wish to attend.

Regards

Geoff
