EVENING WITH NOEL PATTERSON

Our current President, Noel Patterson, showed off his knowledge of both lightroom and photoshop including some shortcuts and tips for lightroom. During the evening he showed us his portfolio of sport images, including football, trampolining, tumbling & basketball. He stated how he liked to show some movement in his sport shots which can result in artistic and creative images. He also prefers to get in as close as possible, but sometimes the backgrounds in sport images can be a problem, usually a mono conversion can help.

Noel showed us a few slideshows of a folk festival, a trip to Bhutan (where he also managed to fit a football match in!) and then showed us our NCPS entry for the next LCPU competition which is coming up soon.
