The main event in the calendar of any established photo society is an Annual Exhibition that serves to showcase the best work of it’s members. And this major event on North Cheshire’s syllabus is now only a month away. The dates for your diary: March 21st, 22nd and 23rd.

Our newer members may be unaware that The North Cheshire Challenges have become an integral part of our Exhibition week. These inter-club competitions have been held on the Wednesday and Thursday evenings every year for the past 37 years, throughout which period we have attracted all the major clubs to Poynton. Competition is extremely keen as every club’s aim is to collect the prestigious trophy awarded to the winners on the night. Be sure to be present to support our own club at both events.

We expect a good number of visitors from all the participating clubs who come to Poynton to hear the judges comments on their entries, with the bonus of viewing the displays of our own DPIs and exhibition prints displayed around the hall. And we like to think that our smooth running of both events plus our warm hospitality encourages like-minded photographers to return year after year.
