From Wednesday, 21st March, the Main Hall at Poynton Civic Centre will be BUZZING.
It will be transformed into a major photographic gallery with the erection of our illuminated print stands around the room displaying all the exhibition prints, as well as the showing on a large and brilliant TV screen every DPI (including title, author and award) as submitted by NCPS members for this showcase event.
The NORTH CHESHIRE CHALLENGES on Wednesday and Thursday evening have again attracted spectacular sets of competition images from some 20 leading clubs over the two nights – an embarrassment of riches for us to view as we absorb the judges comments on every image. If you enjoyed the Paul Goldstein Special this week, you’ll be doubly impressed by these presentations of one winning picture after another – prints on Wednesday and DPIs (all different from the prints) on Thursday. The audience will enjoy on both nights the clearest view ever, as our new high-res projector displays each image on the large screen. If all goes according to plan – and it usually does – we shall have much to celebrate over our fish & chips supper on Friday. This is North Cheshire’s REALLY BIG SHOW. Don’t miss it. Get involved. It’s all good fun!
