Firstly, Wilmslow Guild Audio Visual Group has issued an invitation to all members of L&CPU clubs who have an interest in audio visual or who are maybe a single image worker who want a better way to show their work, to come along to their ‘Welcome Night and Open Evening’ on Friday 14th September and maybe take along a sequence for everyone to enjoy.
The meeting commences at 7.30pm although they do offer 1to1 workshop sessions from 4.30pm.

Secondly, the National Audio Visual festival with PAGB Patronage is taking place in the area from the 30th November to the 2nd December – the Great Northern Festival.
The Friday evening they have invited Judith Kimber over from Northern Ireland to give a talk and practical demonstration on ‘Mood and Music’.
The Saturday and Sunday are the two competition days – a weekend of entertainment, competition and socialising. A brochure with full tetails and entry forms can be found on www.gnfestival.org.uk

Finally, the L&CPU Audio Visual competition will be held at Wilmslow Guild on Saturday 9th February when the judge will be Richard Brown FRPS from the Midland Counties PF.
The evening before he will be giving a talk on ‘Scriptwriting’. Entries are welcome from members of all L&CPU clubs – the maximum time for sequences is 12 minutes and the judge will give feedback on the day.
