The new season got off to a cracking start with professional landscape photographer Fran Halsall giving us a tour of England (starting with the High Peak), Scotland and Wales.
We were treated to over 60 cracking landscape and seascape images, including both sun rises and sunsets, well know locations and those secreted away and hard to reach.
Fran didn’t set out to the evening to teach any specific content but in her description and explanation of the process of capturing each image imparted a great deal of detailed knowledge about the interaction of light as it was affected by the time of day, time of year, direction and weather conditions. In addition Fran shared the pre-planning required to capture consistently fabulous landscapes. Thanks Fran for an entertaining and informative evening.
