SPS Knockout Competition advert 2019
This weekend NCPS competed with 38 other clubs for the honour of representing our region at the national PDI and Print competitions. In a weekend of very low scoring by the judges a specific mention goes to Rob & Annette Hockney who both scored 14 out of 15 for images in the nature print section.

On the 8 May we hold our Annual General meeting when the committee reports on the current season. As a club we discuss and make plans for the coming year including electing a new committee, I would encourage everyone to attend and contribute. The L&CPU Annual Club Digital Competition once again demonstrated the outstanding quality of photography in the federation. After a hard day of judging by Phil Charnock FRPS MSIAP, Gwen Charnock FRPS MSIAP and Dianne Owen FRPS, top clubs are as follows: Colour 1st: Chorley PS (99) 2nd: North Cheshire PS (95) 3rd: Southport PS (94) 4th: Poulton-le-Fylde PS (93)
The Sheffield competition attracted an entry from 23 clubs who submit 5 image from 5 different members giving a total entry of 115 images. These images are eliminated round by round scoring points equal to the round they go out in and the competition ended with just 6 images in round 6. By round 4
As well as our annual exhibition this week we held the two North Cheshire Challenges. On Wednesday Tom Dodd judged the prints from 13 clubs and NCPS finished 7=. The winners were The Evolve Group.
