NORTH CHESHIRE PS v LEEK PHOTOGRAPHIC CLUB

ANNUAL INTER-CLUB BATTLE

North Cheshire hosted our annual inter-club battle with Leek Photographic, our judge for the evening was Ray Grover, each club showed 30 images from 30 club members. Prints were judged first, 20 prints in all. Scores ranged from 14 up to one 20. Ray held 5 images back for a second look, 3 from NCPS & 2 from Leek. We won the prints 167 to 165, with our very own Joyce Streets taking top marks with her ‘Enough is Enough’.

PDI’s were up next and there were 40 images presented. Scores again ranged from 14 up to 2 x 20’s. 8 images were held back, 4 from each club. Our President Noel Patterson scored 20 with ‘Rounding The Keeper’, but Leek had the winning image ‘Time To Say Goodbye’ taken by Ray Baddeley. Leek won the PDI’s 326 to 320, and consequently won the battle overall. Leek – 491 & NCPS – 487.

Congratulations to Leek on their well deserved win and it was great to see some of their members brave the weather conditions.
