This years Big Day and Novice Cup will be on Sunday 14th October 2018.
There are four exciting Speakers: – Andrea Hargreaves MPAGB (YPU), Steve Proctor DPAGB (Chorley PS), Christine Johnston DPAGB (Warrington PS) and Eddie Leach CPAGB (Oldham PS).
They will each be giving a presentation which will include their recent successful PAGB Award Panels for Photographic Merit.
There will also be the 2nd Annual Novice Cup with an experience Judging Panel from the YPU :- Howard Tate, Andrew Pell and Stephanie Cook.
The ticket price (£15.00) will include lunch.
The Novice Cup is a club competition for the newer, less experienced club member. The images submitted cannot have received an award outside of your own club and the members cannot hold a Photographic Distinction. Each club can submit 6 unmounted A4 prints from 6 different authors in each category (colour prints and mono prints) . We had nearly 30 clubs competing for the trophy last year. As well as the trophy for the top scoring club, there will be medals for the best mono and colour images, with ribbons and certificates for runners up
Ticket sales and online entry will open from the beginning of August 2018.
