There will be no door entry charge next Tuesday for the Martin Avery competition, but a raffle will be held with proceeds going to Club funds. New members please note that we aim to break even each season and we rely on the proceeds of occasional raffles to do this, as speakers and room hire costs are high. Please could members bring something to donate to the raffle (ideally wine or chocolates – something that you would like to win!) and consider buying raffle tickets on the evening.
Any unused prizes on the night will be raffled (again for Club funds) at the L&CPU Knockout competition on Saturday 17 November (an inter club competition that is a good one to come and watch).
