I hope those of you who watched the competition on Saturday evening enjoyed the images from the 22 competing clubs. We won comfortably, with Jackie’s ’Nothing to see here” being the judge’s winning image - congratulations Jackie, so well deserved!! The top 4 clubs: 1st - NCPS with 27 points 2nd= Newark with 22 points
Just a quick update to let you know our overall rankings in the GB Cup comps. A very pleasing 7th place in the Open section out of 58 clubs, and 11th equal in the Nature section out of 62 clubs. Great results!

There will be no door entry charge next Tuesday for the Martin Avery competition, but a raffle will be held with proceeds going to Club funds. New members please note that we aim to break even each season and we rely on the proceeds of occasional raffles to do this, as speakers and room hire

The Opening of the Sony PAGB Print Exhibition - featuring the best photographic prints from club photographers all over Great Britain and Northern Ireland will take place at 2pm in the Williamson Art Gallery, Slatey Road, Birkenhead, Wirral CH43 4UE on Saturday 12th December. The L&CPU is holding a Judging Seminar on Sunday 15 November at The Blue Club, Victoria Street, Chadderton (venue to be confirmed). Doors open at 9.30am. Tea/coffee and registration at 10am.
