I thought I should send out another email regarding the Poynton Show on this coming Saturday – 29th August.
There will be at least four of us at the Show on the day but we would like to see a few more faces please – if you are free. Karen has three more free passes for members of NCPS. We will have our own smart stand showing off our photographic work.
Joyce, assisted by Karen, will judge the photo work entered as part of the show. All this takes place before the general public are let in. Our stand will be manned all day by at least one of the team of Martin, Karen, Joyce and Jerry.
This is an opportune moment to continue the work of Joyce and Jon working with the show committee but this year we have had a request for us to help them find suitable images for their website. So Dave has set aside Tuesday evening of 24th November where we can choose from the images taken on the day of the Show. That task of taking suitable images currently falls to the team manning the stand.
Clearly it’s a case of the more mages taken on the day the better. So if you are free, get in touch with Karen and use a free pass and help your Club.
Unfortunately I can’t make it – we set off of Spain tomorrow.
