NCPS secured a very good win at The 9th Sheffield Photographic Society Digital Image Knockout Competition. This competition attracted 29 clubs each submitting 5 images. This meant judge Adrian Lines faced a very difficult job faced with 145 nice images.
The format was a knock out with each image securing the number of points equivalent to the round it was knocked out (1-6 and 7 for the overall winner).
Having all safely survived the first round our images scored the following points
Red Squirrel eating hazelnut – Rob Hockney – 2
Support at the lineout – Noel Patterson – 2
Tough Mudder – Alan Saunders 3
Great Crested Grebes courtship display – Yvonne StCyr 6
You’ve got a friend – Jackie Robinson 6
Our 19 points put us 1 point ahead of second place Doncaster
