Last night saw our 1st competition of the season. The 1st of 4 Pdi & 3 print competitions we have through out the year. Our judge for the evening was Conor Molloy President of Macclesfield Camera Club, who's been involved in photography for the last 5 years. He's also a relatively recent graduate from LCPU
With rain, thunder, lightning and local flooding it was a relatively small but committed band of members who gathered on Tuesday. We were however rewarded with some splendid images from 8 different members showing a range of macro, nature, landscape, cityscape, street, journalistic, wedding and sports photography. Congratulations to Lisa Mullins for gaining the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) Level 1. This requires 25 images to be accepted in the BPE exhibitions. A great achievement, well done Lisa!
